A planet-scale system carries a planet-scale responsibility.
ORN orchestrates millions of journeys across forty-plus countries. The same intelligence that re-routes a traveller around a delay can re-route an industry toward lower-carbon outcomes — when it is designed to.
Travel done right is travel that gives more than it takes.
ORN is committed to building the lowest-emissions orchestration layer in travel. We measure the carbon cost of every itinerary surfaced by NX/OS and, where the traveller permits, offer a lower-impact alternative before the booking is confirmed.
We do not believe in offsetting as a substitute for reduction. Offsets are a transitional instrument, used transparently and audited annually. Our primary commitment is to reduce avoidable emissions at the point of itinerary design — by route, by mode, by season, by partner.
Our three commitments
- Carbon-aware itineraries. Every trip orchestrated by NX/OS surfaces a carbon estimate and a lower-impact alternative by default.
- Regenerative partnerships. Preference and revenue share for properties and operators with verified regenerative practices.
- Transparent reporting. Annual disclosure aligned with TCFD, GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2, and 3.
Targets are aspirational where stated and audited where committed. Our latest verified figures are published in the ORN Annual Responsibility Report.
Designed in. Not bolted on.
Sustainability inside ORN is a product decision, not a marketing one. It lives in the orchestration engine — in the ranking of options, the prompts shown to the traveller, and the contracts we sign with partners.
The same NX/OS layer that personalises a journey can de-personalise its harm: choosing the rail leg over the short-haul flight when timing allows, the operator with a clean fleet over the one without, the experience that pays the host community over the one that does not.
